I have the computer set to randomly play music all day. For the most part, I don't have the music separated into "stufff I like" and "stuff I don't like," so the list is a little strange. For example: Now playing- C.W. McCall's "Convoy." An analysis of my ten most-played songs of 2006, according to last.fm :
- Calexico – Crooked Road and The Briar - Played six times as many times as the number two song- not because I love it, but because I screwed up and told winamp to play it repeatedly all day. I still don't know the song.
- Bauhaus – Ziggy Stardust - From their "We wish we were David Bowie" phase. The original version is better.
- Paris Combo – Pas à Pas - I don't know this song.
- Schoolhouse Rock – Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla - Doesn't everyone love Schoolhouse Rock?
- They Might Be Giants – Spider - I love TMBG, but I have no idea what song this is. (side note: winamp just played a commercial for "The Lonely Woman." Now it's playing the theme from Gigantor.)
- Otis Redding – Try a Little Tenderness - A song forever ruined for me as a lip-synch extravaganza for Jon "Ducky" Cryer in "Pretty in Pink."
- Sweet – Teenage Rampage - I don't know this song.
- The Meters – Sophisticated Cissy - I don't know this song.
- N*E*R*D – Lapdance (feat. Lee Harvey & Vita) - How did this get here?
- Paul Simon – You Can Call Me Al - I blame my wife's Paul Simon crush.
