Show us a photobooth photo.
I will tell a story.
My wife & I were together in high school. We broke up, then got back together more than 20 years later. For the wedding, we decided to try and recreate some photobooth pictures we took in high school.
First, we had to find a photobooth. We found one at Cafe 50s in Sherman Oaks. When we got there, we came across a few snags toward recreating the pictures. For one thing, there was no orange curtain available. For another, this booth was thinner than the original one, and we were the opposite of thinner than our high school selves. Still, we had to try.
It was not exactly the result we were hoping for.
We had a few options:
Option one was no guarantee of success. Option two, giving up, seemed like a bad way to start a marriage. So, I brought home a sheet of orange butcher paper from work, taked it to the closet door, pointed a bunch of random lights at the chair, dug out some shirts with collars that sort-of matched the original pictures, and took a bunch of shots.
Then I picked the three closest to the original, cropped them, framed them in the original outside frame, and photoshopped in some curtains. The result:
We had a few options:
- Try again at a different photo booth.
- Give up.
- Fake it.

Not bad, if I say so myself. Yes, the skin tones don't match, but when I tried to make them look like the original picture we looked really creepy.
